Smackdown Analysis

Before there was "Saturday Smackdown," I did my weekly streams on Wednesday afternoons after returning from class at school. My original goal of those streams was to be educational and to cast both my own and other high level game play so that newer players would have a resource from which to draw knowledge. At the end of each of these Wednesday streams, I would often go over high level replays or user submitted replays and analyze a certain aspect of the game that I found educational. I've since graduated, and as most people probably know, much prefer to cast these days to actually playing. However, I still think that the replay analysis portion of the stream could be beneficial to some players.

That's where you come in. Starting with this week, after the BO7 (don't worry that's not changing), I plan on doing a replay analysis of a user submitted game. If you have a certain game you'd like reviewed, whether it be your own game play, one of an expert player, etc. I'll work my way through the list in upcoming smackdowns and might try and coordinate with Interjection to get them posted to his youtube channel as well.

In your submission, please put a link to the game you want reviewed and the aspect of the game you want reviewed (i.e. "Why did I lose." or "What can China do better in this game to improve his chances of winning"). Any feedback welcome.

I think a lot of people would watch. I definitely want to hear what you have to say about a lower level game b/c those are the type of mistakes I make :-/

Is this actually still correct?

Actually india should beat azzie. You just have to boom in def and win with your better eco and your better late game.

Hey Zuta! Thank you for adding this analysis bit to Smackdown.

Attached is a German vs Japan game on New England. I am playing as the Germans. I'm PR 11 and the other guy is PR 20 so it's certainly not like watching a Smackdown.

That said, what are the biggest issues you see that I should be trying to improve on for my German play? Additionally, what tips would you have specifically for this MU? As you'll see, my raiding was not nearly as successful like in the KingOwnage vs Samwise German/Japan game from last Smackdown.

Thanks again!!
