2v2 tourney idea?

it would be really good to have a 2v2 tournament where 2 people plays against other 2 player but also 1 back up member for 3 player for per team and would be nice to watch since whole community doesn't mean 1v1 also if we look at aoe3 history, there wasnt a team tourney from 2009 at all from what i can see after the acer-kiljardi won 2v2 tourney one there is no next tourney made at all and there are a lot of team players from what i see,
what is your ideas?

We talked about this during Winter and decided to prioritize the invitational and the next ASC. After that we'll see how things work out and if there's any demand.

It would be fun. Maybe if some one one were interested in hosting a smaller tournament (8 teams maybe) we could see how popular it would be. Some one who knows about and is willing to host a tourney should start by having a signup list for teams + casters and then plan the tourney from there.

This isn't a fair comparison because in strong world there was no bracket or something.. You weren't obliged to play games, but the more you play the more points you score. Strong world was too lax in monitoring this and deducing points for dodging in my opinion.

But strong world also gave you more time to get your games played. Anyway that's pure logic, you have to schedule with 4 players instead of 2, it's always harder.
