No. Like if you play russia, you can't semi ff and you can't play greedy, you have to rush.
It's the same with every civs.

I'd say that it is easier to outboom japan as France than winning with a semi ff as Russia vs France^^
I'm considering a heavy eco strat vs japan, involving some turtling, FI mechanics, transition to mills, and heavy cannon stabilization

Our France v Japan game was me testing out the French FI. Its hard to FI and maintain a semblance of map control. And france isn't the best turtling civ, nor do I enjoy turling in general

Nah, not if u damage french early then put blockhouses all over the map and grow an unkillable vet army, starve the french
