2v2 games for Saturday Smackdown

Is this possible? Can we arrange 2v2 obs games for a bo5/bo7 sometime to spice things up? I know lag becomes a huge issue here, but maybe one 2v2 every once in awhile can bring some dynamic game play and analysis to the stream. Thoughts?

Is a good idea! Then we will see some good teamplayers as well. (Instead of the good 1v1 players we see every week)

I'd be all for it assuming we had players preselected and a decent set of maps with the proper UI made ahead of time.

2v2 OBS maps do exist already. The one thing we need is an UI indeed. (And players.)

We'll see if anything comes up by next saturday. Though the UI would need to go through quite a bit of testing even when done before it'd be suitable for any official or semi-offical event.

2v2 lasts much more than 1v1 so it'll more likely be a BO3 but why not.

it's funny because you guys are having trouble getting 2 players to 1v1 so now it's like "hey let's try to get 4 players"

Hmm high level team games can be fun to watch. Lower level team games definitely aren't as fun to watch.

Its simple observer mode.

Not sure if a UI is that important for a 2v2, though, since a lot more is happening in a 2v2 than in 1v1 to have enough time to read shipments and every players stats.

EDIT. No, the obs map pack doesnt include Honshu.

Probably only one civ and player each game is getting commented. I mean most viewers want to improve their gameplay, so why not advise how to play team?
