People will give you numerous advice and tips that may seem meaningful, but are totally useless at the end of the day. And the worst part is that they will start arguing about those.

Try to find record games of kynesie playing Japan on water, I'd be surprised if you don't find any

Yes, talked about this with kynesie, some weeks ago. He said he uses 2 different BOs, because of the maps, if he's playing on a good water map, then he likes playing full water, otherwise he uses the alternative BO, for small water maps and it's like 3boats or so. His full water boom BO is very nice, it's the best I have found so far, he does:

dock card
600w
2fune
water eco cards

To execute it well, you need much practise I guess. Also he does have 4 docks before 6 min and he builds tons of wall, because it's actually a very greedy build. He said he does make unit around 11 min mark lol, so imagine how many walls he makes to survive

Just 3 tips :
-You need to up fast, i mean with 11 vills, or even 10.With a 200w start , u can 10/10 port consulate. -> The goal is to send 600w as fast as possible, because tou need to build other dock fast in case of opponent send 2 warship card first. And anyway your boom is starting with 600w, u need them fast :) (And if you up with 12-13 vills , u can be overpop 20/20...)
-If your opponent rush on land , u can make a rax(next to water ofc) and 5 yumi, and use wall and warship.
-When you'll get insulted, keep calm and let him rage

@Kynesie I really enjoyed your tournament game vs Aizamk on water. OP played - and as far as I have seen, you are the only player, thus far, using the small islands. Impressive game IMO :flowers:

With water it's not executing the BOs, it's mostly having the necessary defending skill and experience with playing from behind in military count for most of the game. The reason kynesie wins isn't because his BOs are OP, it's because he's really good at holding pressure.

Still, you need a strong basis, with no TPs shipments become really expensive and you often have to decide whether you can extend your boom or focus on defending more, which is not an easy task.

well actually water play requires very high apm, to execute "well" you should be pr30+ imo
