Signs that you're a bad player

I played a guy yesterday, he was otto. He tried to jan abus, but failed. He had no army left so instead of resigning he built 8 towers around his tc. I guess playing tower defense in AoE is a sign that you're a bad player as well.

Though getting too upset isn''t good either, unless it''s a tournament match, of course. otherwise getting too upset can''t be good,

It''s ok to be unhappy when you lose in my opinion, especially when you can''t understand why. However, nothing warrants getting pissed over losing.

I'm a bad player and I don't care when I loose. I think not caring is a sign that your bad, or at the very least indifferent' and if you're indifferent to winning or loosing you probably won't be very good.

I try not to care about a loss. Makes life more fun.

It probably doesnt make you a bad player, but it most likely means that you aren't a top player either.

Admittedly it pisses me off when I fuck up and then my opponent proceeds to make fun of me. Or if he is lower ranked and he is owning my ass and then proceeds to make fun of me.
Also loosing many games in a row makes makes me reconsider my BOs, timing, etc...

Really the worst thing is if you disappoint yourself. But maybe thats just me. Ive always been the most stressed out for tests of subjects that I was great at because I wanted to do well.

To me it used to happen a lot more in starcraft in aoe...
That agressive "gg" that people say when they are winning, and the "bs civ, you suck" when they are losing.. from a point I decided to just mute everyone, since it was like this everyday..

Aoe players seems more friendly.

being indifferent when losing/winning and trying/aiming to win are two different things... one is how you treat a specific event (win/loss) and the other is the overall orientation of where your focus and effort is directed at and what your key motivation is (winning, fun, bored, trying new things, trolling). Usually this civ isnt dutch or port ').

High plains is the new Great Plains.

It's also much better. Very nice and open, with a good trade route. I love this map.
