Senor_Boe wrote:@deleted_user5 If i go 2 tcs home dosen't that make my docks get siege dance'ed quite more easily ? And might also get pushed in water with an age 3 timing idk.I have just finished seeing your game vs baus.There's 2 things I'm confused about,1st why did you build a tp in transition?It's quite weird for me because I always save up wood in transition to get more boats and 2nd dock.2nd thing is that you actualy didn't contest whale for the first 8 mins.And I'm unsure if you got 2nd wood up in time.
You can protect your docks just with 1 caravel, that's not a big issue, about the baus game, since tps will most likely get nerfed, it is better not to take TP early game I think, but need to test it first. If I didn't go whales very early it must be probably because I was macroing to age III very fast, you can do that when you are playing against these kind of aggressive civs. For example against otto/spain ff you would better to semi water semi ff, I can show some examples about semi water boom later aswell. But usually you should contest whales early game..

There's also some rare cases where you actualy have just sent refrigeration or something else other than 1k wood and your opponent would do an all in push on ur docks with land & Water.How do you play vs that?Seems like a tough push( on age 3 mostly )

I'm watching the last 2 recs you sent me now, till i respond I recommend you to watch this game, this kind of play works very well.

it's easy to hold some pushes so you would rather going more greedy..

@Senor_Boe

About the game vs _CO2_ : the japan player tried to fb war with ports which is not really ideal, japane can't compete early water fights like that imo, surely fune is a good unit but they becomre real strong after sending the all warship upgrades, I mean you just build a tc in the dock fight and win it, there is not much thing he can do, preparing for a timing push rather than taking fb war on water could be better for the japan player imo.

About the 2nd game: not much to say I think, you just executed a good water boom and win, it's kinda lost game from the beginning when opponent denies to play water.

about the 3rd game: it's a bit weird you lost it despite having 100+ score than your opponent at the 15th min mark, also you are lacking infrantry hp in your deck, you should have all upgrades in your deck especially against civs like dutch/japan which are famous to have good late game options against ports, you sent CM at 34th min mark like wtf XD also it wasn't like you had to push but him, so that you could safely go age5 instead of suiciding under his tc because dutch generally can't afford aging 5 since their eco is limited, also you picked some hard water deck while your opponent was on land so basicly you couldnt use like 4-5 cards of your own, I think you lost is because you never had a proper composition or just made few unit rather than mixing.

@deleted_user5 Fighting dutch in late game appeared to be so tough,I mean I'm already sure that my micro in this game was very horrible, but I also don't know about the right composition here.Including him being able to mass 150 mil pop vs my 90 mil pop,Also which other land cards do you suggest I should add other than team hp card & I also think I should add fast cav / infatry training card.

fast train card is not necessary, just do the right composition. Dutch should not beat ports late game especially on water, their economy is just not that good to have 150 mil pop

@Senor_Boe Let's start with game1 against woodpusher, You just delayed your push too much against him, you should have started pushing in age III instead of letting him push with oldhan units.

For the 2nd game.. Again, you just try to take age IV fight while you should have pushed him suddenly. So he just goes FI and oldhan spam on RE, not much to say. Push him earlier...
