Germany is better, but at like pr30 china just boosts your skill.

I don't know that ger is better than china

i felt that way while i was playing russia... i was stuck at pr 24 and then got pr26 almost 27 playing somegames, not tryharding.

China is just extremely easy to play. They take no mechanical skill whatsoever and do not have a lot of strategical depth. I hope EP7 will manage to alleviate at least some of these issues with the buffs to colonial china.

Yea china as a lot of stuff for making your life more eazier. Village are good for holding rush if your herding is not perfect, and same for raiding, the way they make there unit mean u have always different kind of unit, and all unit come from essentially one building, they have wonder that give free unit, and not least, all age 3 unit are really cost efficient.

I am sure ep7 change nothing about that.

Dutch seems to be op good as well, "Banks that will always give you coin, no matterwhat" + "Vills are made from coin".

I was talking about playing the civ, is it hard? controlling 5215646 different types of units, aging up with tower wonder while being rushed and having some skirm mass issues seems to be kinda hard mechanically speaking.

also id like to hear a pr38+ opinion @Kaiserklein @lordraphael @Diarouga @tabben @Lukas_L99 about china's mechanic

Get to age 3, make cav, hard civ.

Yeah, it's not as easy as people make it seem. Or we'd have numerous Pr 38s out of nowhere just cause they're playing China.

I think it's more than it emphasizes skill, as in if you have the basics it's a lot better than a civ than something like Germany.

First of all kaiser and rapha don't play China so they can't tell whether it's easy or hard, all they can say is how strong it is.

To answer your question, I'd say that China is rather hard mechanically.
First of all, the macro is hard because you need to distribute your villagers very well and a good macro can often make the difference (aging earlier, getting your batches earlier etc). Macro-wise it's one of the hardest civs in the game.

Often, you will have to defend, which is not easy either.

And finally, you have to be very precise on your timings and get the right unit composition to win.

I have to admit that the micro is rather easy as you only have to a move (although you need at least 3 unit groups) though.

So my opinion is that China is not easy to master, but just like Japan, it seems op when the opponent doesn't play properly, and you don't need a great micro to be good with it, which is why the improving players (tabben, Lukas, mongo) became very good with that civ in no time.
