How to load tables from ms excel or word

Ok, I'm facing this problem.I want to post a topic but it involves two tables(17x4) from ms excel.Any idea how to load them?

There's no way currently to directly embed a spreadsheet onto the forums. You have to be a little bit creative with the formatting to get what you're looking for, use a screenshot, or give us a link to a Google doc (or equivalent).

Indeed, I think a link to a google doc is your best bet.

But you brought a good point. Most phpbb forums have a table option using <table> and <td> and <tr>. I make sure the devs hear about this!

If table formatting gets added it should definitely be parsed into BBCode as HTML can in some cases lead to messy interference with the actual source code of the layouts. Generally I'd also say, if you want to show a table, either post an image of it and/or link it. I've seen (and used) these table functions as well, but they don't get used as much to be worth the effort to make it work flawlessy and look good. There's also no real advantage over an image or a link, plus the actual code for larger tables quickly becomes messy/bloated and non-coding people make a lot of mistakes. The time to build and fix that table BBCode is better invested in uploading a screenshot or linking the table.
