Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page

I can't find a setting in the ACP for this. I seem to recall you could do this yourself in the forum settings, but I can't find that either.

Usually, you can find the option to not see threads from certain forums/subforums, by clicking the cog wheel on Active Threads tab. But something is up with it as it shows only two tournaments right now which are over anyway.

Well, first of all you're talking about two different things. The OP is about "unread posts" page, not the "active" threads tab on homepage.

Not a great solution, but of course you can go mark the section unread to expel those threads (until someone posts again) from your Unread Posts view:

Seems like it was a possibility at some point, but it was removed for some reason.

@musketeer925 That tool probably doesn't work because the subforum needs to be added to the 'tournaments' category in the database. And even then, that (should) only control active posts, not unread posts..

The new version for active threads is definitely better, we just need to figure out how it works so we can update it for the current tournament.
The "unread posts" filter seems to have been removed without replacement, not sure why.

Some are, but not all 400 of them are fun. I rather cherry-pick a few I wanna follow than have multiple pages of uninteresting threads I gotta search through.
