Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
I can't find a setting in the ACP for this. I seem to recall you could do this yourself in the forum settings, but I can't find that either.
Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
Usually, you can find the option to not see threads from certain forums/subforums, by clicking the cog wheel on Active Threads tab. But something is up with it as it shows only two tournaments right now which are over anyway.
Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
I disagree, some scheduling threads are too fun to miss out.
Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
Well, first of all you're talking about two different things. The OP is about "unread posts" page, not the "active" threads tab on homepage.
Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
ah shit, I forgot that even existed

Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
Not a great solution, but of course you can go mark the section unread to expel those threads (until someone posts again) from your Unread Posts view:

Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
Yeah there was a way to blacklist some forums so that they wouldn't show up in the active threads but I can't find it, was it removed or what

Maybe this was supposed to replace it:deleted_user wrote:Same.musketeer925 wrote:I can't seem to find it eitherKaiserklein wrote:Yeah there was a way to blacklist some forums so that they wouldn't show up in the active threads but I can't find it, was it removed or what
Doesn't seem to be working quite right though.

Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
Seems like it was a possibility at some point, but it was removed for some reason.
There are at least three earlier threads about the same issue.

@musketeer925 That tool probably doesn't work because the subforum needs to be added to the 'tournaments' category in the database. And even then, that (should) only control active posts, not unread posts..

I like the old version. Lots of customizability!

Anyway, nuancing isn't your forte, so I'll agree with you like I would with a 8 year old: violence is bad, don't do hard drugs and stay in school Benj98

Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
The new version for active threads is definitely better, we just need to figure out how it works so we can update it for the current tournament.
The "unread posts" filter seems to have been removed without replacement, not sure why.

Re: Hide scheduling threads from the "unread posts" page
Some are, but not all 400 of them are fun. I rather cherry-pick a few I wanna follow than have multiple pages of uninteresting threads I gotta search through.gh0st wrote:I disagree, some scheduling threads are too fun to miss out.
