PR 30+ section
I have had this thought before and I saw rapha's signature again recently, which made me think about this again. His sig says we should have a forum section where only pr 30+ people can post. Honestly this just seems like a smart and pretty simple thing. Often times there are balance discussions on this forum and new players who are pr 10 start joining the discussion. This isnt bad, and its nice to see newer/ casual players get involved. However this can lead to topics getting taken over / going off topic, since players are trying to join the discussion but their comments are basically just inaccurate in these conversations.
By making just one section for pr 30+ (or pr 32+ lt. col.). This can allow the competitive players to have balance discussions that arent taken over by casual players. Especially with balance talk being very relevant lately. With the possibility of a balance team forming, while at the same time people liking the idea of having input from all competitive players. ofc it would be hard to track down all pr 30+ members, the best way to do this is ppl could replay to this topic saying they want to be invited into this private forum section, then someone sees if they meet the criteria and then they get invited. PR invite exceptions may be made for the few ppl that arent that pr but are still very active casters or have good input in the competitive scene.
This isnt made to make lower level players feel bad or to make the better players feel good. This is just to provide a place where the competitive scene can have easier and better conversations about the game.

Re: PR 30+ section
ah yes i can just make lvl 10 hc account, lame 5 games and be king of new subsection!
Re: PR 30+ section
in all honesty though, this is a genuinely good idea, creating a place for good players to exchange ideas can only move the game forward in terms of desing and balance

Re: PR 30+ section
Where does that happen? I think the only thread that have lots of discussions with casual players are in thread made by casual players. This can allow the competitive players to have balance discussions that arent taken over by casual players.

Re: PR 30+ section
Second great idea in these days after drug test
Just maybe every 30+ pr player should discuss about civs which they are playing and understand, for example if someone plays only brit or otto shouldnt allow to say even one word about other civs
P.s. what about IQ test? And only they whome has 150+ IQ should discuss about changes
P.s. p.s. if I would be in place of kaiser, I would say that 45+ pr players understand this game better than anyone, so only 45+ pr players should discuss about balance changes. Soo I would be only player which would discuss about any balance change and as we said >> this isnt made to make lower level players feel bad or to make the better players feel good. This is just to provide a place where the competitive scene can have easier and better conversations about the game.

The biggest idiots I've seen among AOE players tend to be pr30+

We also have a section for high-level players only, but you are not in it. It's for EP discussions: viewforum.php?f=724

ofc there has to be trolls. It would be simple if you dont want to post or participate in the forum section then you dont have to. Problem solved.

Re: PR 30+ section
You can easily get to pr 35 without knowing anything about the game, just following a build order. I think that the exclusive forum should be for pr 46+
