Re: Looks like a database problem
If the symptom you're experiencing is the forum being slow, yeah, there's a big database migration currently running that's slowing things down.
We also have some other features disabled (e.g., like button is missing) as there we've got some maintenance ongoing. If you've noticed something else broken, please let us know.

Thanks for confirming. I would make a suggestion that when something like that happens, it'd be a good idea to display that announcement banner that is usually used for signups
to add a note which would explain what's going on.

Re: Looks like a database problem
when you click on "legacy AoE3" you don't have the top 10 ladder who appear anymore on the leftmusketeer925 wrote: ↑16 Jan 2022, 21:02If the symptom you're experiencing is the forum being slow, yeah, there's a big database migration currently running that's slowing things down.

This change was done intentionally to improve site performance; the widget doesn't seem very useful anymore, considering the state of legacy.ǝɯɐuɹǝsn wrote: ↑17 Jan 2022, 17:57when you click on "legacy AoE3" you don't have the top 10 ladder who appear anymore on the leftmusketeer925 wrote: ↑16 Jan 2022, 21:02If the symptom you're experiencing is the forum being slow, yeah, there's a big database migration currently running that's slowing things down.

I'd like to replace it with something similar for AoE3:DE/AoE4 though.
Re: Looks like a database problem
ahh sad to read that, aoe 4 already got a dedicated website for leaderboard, while aoe 3 only got here, but ok i understand your pointEAGLEMUT wrote: ↑17 Jan 2022, 18:33This change was done intentionally to improve site performance; the widget doesn't seem very useful anymore, considering the state of legacy.ǝɯɐuɹǝsn wrote: ↑17 Jan 2022, 17:57when you click on "legacy AoE3" you don't have the top 10 ladder who appear anymore on the leftmusketeer925 wrote: ↑16 Jan 2022, 21:02If the symptom you're experiencing is the forum being slow, yeah, there's a big database migration currently running that's slowing things down.

Re: Looks like a database problem
Aoe3:DE has a dedicated website too:
https://www.ageofempires.com/stats/ageiiide/
Talking about legacy?
https://www.agecommunity.com/ladders/La ... ck&sFlag=2
Though I think this website doesn't update anymore.
Re: Looks like a database problem
It does update, that's where we're getting data from.aaryngend wrote: ↑17 Jan 2022, 19:15Aoe3:DE has a dedicated website too:

Re: Looks like a database problem
Oh, nice, the 3DE site has more than top 200 now?
Re: Looks like a database problem
The same site people use for AoE4 also works for AoE3: https://aoeiv.net/#aoe3de-leaderboard-supremacy-1v1
Re: Looks like a database problem
There might be some issues with how the BBCode tag table gets parsed and displays.
The whole content appears in the DOM but it looks like the tags are not parsed, they just show up as strings.
If you remove the line-height:0 from this, the table doesn't look so mangled anymore but the issue with unparsed BBCode tags remains.
Example of table that probably doesn't display right right now:
[td][b]3) Then create the 2nd style[/b]
Now you're back on the main screen of Stylus and can create a new style for dark mode. Click on [b]Write new style[/b] again, fill in the field on the top left with a name for the dark theme, then [b]Save[/b].
Again, go to "[b]Applies to Everything[/b]" on the bottom. Click on the [b]+[/b] button. Pick "[b]URLs on the domain[/b]" from the dropdown menu, enter the [b]eso-community.net[/b] name on the right field. [b]Save[/b].
Now you can enter the code for the dark theme from here -- open this in another browser tab:
[url]https://pastebin.com/raw/ytmC55dB[/url]
Copy the whole text and paste it in that dark window from the Stylus extension. [b]Save[/b]. Now you should have two style sheets for the domain eso-community.net.[/td]
What it shows:
It needs to have its font set to FontAwesome and font-style set to normal, etc.

Re: Looks like a database problem
Yeah some BBCode tags are broken after the upgrade, we'll look into it.
I've removed the media tag from display, media should get embed automatically without it anyway.
