Restore quote=[name]

Looks like we can't specify who we're quoting anymore. This makes it hard to follow discussions with multiple people involved

When I quote this post for example, the following is autogenerated between the [...] but has no effect on how the post is displayed:
quote=Goodspeed post_id=567591 time=1643361502 user_id=93

It would be nice if the old way of quoting (quote="name" between [...]) is also supported so that we can see who was being quoted in older posts

It wasn't a change we implemented intentionally, it's a result of the phpbb upgrade which will allow us more customization in the end (like having a link and timestamp in the quote). I think our devs will update our templates at some point which will restore the old functionality.
