This is my PR graph. Getting 1lt is quite easy tbh. But staying at this level is the hard thing to do. After some time you'll get automatically better, no matter if you go from PR 22 to 25 or from PR 16 to 20. You just need to have fun with playing and don't need to see it as an competition.

i've played this game for 5 years and i'm the best among my friends. but some new players, i mean high school students, play aoe3 for several months and reach pr34+.
also i'm the worst one when playing counter strike lol.
So right, i play age since 2006...i become early good at team game and then op, but 1-1 i never be good, not more then a lt in tad....now i'm playing a lot of 1-1 and i sucks, you can make practise, but if your talent is short like my one in 1-1 is just a wasting time. So sad for me play age3, there aren't good teams, and 1-1 is always gg for me

Re: Mid level player section
Okay guys, I'm going to lock this thread unless you can actually make it a site suggestion. One person in the thread has suggested "create a new board" with no reasoning. Everyone else is just arguing about what makes someone a noob for three pages (which seems pretty silly to me).
This thread should be for arguments for/against why such a section would be a good idea. Why would lower level players need a forum separate from the regular strategy forum? What would they post there that can't be posted in the regular strategy forum? I don't understand the point of such a section.

I do not necessarily think a mid level player section is necessary, but I do think it is necessary to consider how mid level players see this forum. There is a general attitude towards lower level players that strongly discourages people to contribute to topics and fully limits them to asking questions, which is rather concerning imo.

I agree, although there are also quite a few low-level players acting as though they were not only high level players but aoe3-gods...
