About 15 minutes to complete. Anyway you can search things that were created before than April
You will be able to search for commom words now, like "french". ^_^
EDIT: Finished

Mimsy for President wrote:Has anybody ever used it? I feel google is more effective to search things here.

You have several options for filters, then you find what you want much more easily

Removed topics of Off Topic forum from Active Topics and Unread Posts.

You can change these settings here: http://eso-community.net/ucp.php?i=ucp_prefs&mode=view
Or go to Your User Name > User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit display options.

Guests cant see these topics as well.

Thank you. This is probably the greatest thing to ever happen to esoc :P . I have a problem trying to like posts on mobile. I always either get a weird page that comes up or when I like a post it subtracts instead of adding. Can this be fixed?

Yes, I've noticed a couple of things about it. When my phone is in portrait mode, all the post functions (like, report, quote) are all in a dropdown list. Whenever I hit like from the list it takes me to a webpage with a bunch of random code (I'll try to get a pic). When my phone is in landscape I get all the buttons in a row without the dropdown, but when I trying liking it just subtracts a number instead of adding.

He means guests also can't see off-topic in active posts.

Step 1. Know nothing
Step 2. Get on high horse
Step 3. ??????????
Step 4. Now, all is well, even though literally nothing changed!

The "scroll-to-top" icons on every single posts are now removed to avoid unnecessary clutter in the posts.

But dont worry, we know they are useful - They have been replaced by one button that will follow the screen instead.

So it will now also work on all pages.

Ps. Let us know if you experience any troubles in any specific device or browser

Found in the bottom right of your screen if you're looking.

The CSS in the "unread posts" section makes it so that when you click a link, the text goes a little up, so misclicks happen often. using chromium, if that helps

Yes, The base font-size was actually increased so a lot of places on the site has bigger text, since sometimes (read, some screens) it was so small that you had to lean forward to read things.

But yeah you're right, the right sidebar was based on this value, so it got increased more than the others. Fixed now

Added a new pagination.

Unfortunately we can't have a sticky pagination as we had before (it didn't stick to the top on some browsers anyway). It's slow because of the way it's positioned and the width being adapted to the content, not the full page. It causes more problems than it solves.

It's now on the top and bottom of pages (not on every page yet, but the ones used 99% of the time), and we decided that should be good enough as you probably don't need to urgently browse pages when scrolled only halfway down the page.

As usual, any problems let us know.

Added a Discord profile field. Can be edited in user control panel and will appear in your profile page.

If it gets used I might do something with it later.

Cleaned up the cluttered sidebar..

We have now gathered related things on separate pages. But why?

Easier to maintain for everyone, and less clutter in the sidebar. You can now much faster see the important links, and we can hopefully (in the long run) keep higher quality content on these fewer pages.

ESOC Patch:
This page will improve over time. We want to keep only one page with all info you need about the patch. This will make it much easier for all of us to keep it up-to-date and high quality. (we will get there)

ESOC maps
Two reasons. Curious people can see a nice map list. And we give some credit to our fantastic map makers.

Tournaments
We've always been struggling to find that one tournament last year haven't we? Well good news, they should all be in one place now. Including links to brackets and their forum overview

Community links
It makes no sense to have these in the sidebar wasting space. Better to gather more links and have a real nice list instead. Do you have some links you want to see here? Let us know.
