What to do as Aztec vs Ports colonial militia ?
As the title says, What should I do ? I played this match up last night and it just seemed hopeless for Azzy. 2 TC colonial militia is hard to break. Then Port aged and wins.
Should I just raid, and go to age 3 asap ? Or try win in colonial ?

Honestly i think this mu with cm is strongly in favour of the port player between two players of roughly the same skill level.
However what you can do is either a coyote semi, or probably better a 10 warrior priest semi. Still i believe both of these are just slower/less powerful than a port age 3, especially on EP.
You could also send 700w 600g and just mass 20 puma and tgen go in with the 10 mace shipment while ports is aging.

Pull back, age-up, and try to either fight it out in fortress (coy/mace Is pretty good in age 3, not to mention ERK's and arrow knights), or go industrial and spam infinite 20 maces.

Well straight IV is prob too bland to beat port IV. Also diarouga has a build down for that with Ports. But CM just seems a waste that you can exploit anyway.

CM isn't a waste. It straight-up means that you can't be rushed to any efficacy as ports. Honestly I would say that it is pretty overpowered for Ports, and I would totally be in favour of them just not getting the card, or getting a weaker version of the card.

Ahah ye, triggered.
But anyway CM is basically overreaction. I can still do run byes if I want and meanwhile I'm doing an eco build. CM really pays off if opponent commits hard. An aztec player might even do a super standard rush going under TC, forcing MM getting away losing 5 pumas and still be fine since it forced CM + 6 MM. That said on EP, Ports just scale easy with cheap vills and resources are super safe so CM with vills in TC is close to greedy build with units. Still prob 1 card+ no threat + renuncing at map control is enough to get an advantage and win.

Thanks for the answers. So if I scout CM, just boom take the map and raid and let my opponent waste that shipment sounds like a decent plan. In future I will just check for CM in deck and adapt, as it seems like a lost battle rushing.
