What are the best and worst hero upgrade cards in aoe3?

My opinion:
Best: Sioux invisible hero card
Worst: Brit Hero card (uses up age 2 card slot)

yeah, with some tashunke prowlers added u can get an invisible cav box as well!

Dunno if anybody actually makes tashunke prowlers which would prob be the only time that is useful, I'd say Smoking Mirror for azzy is better

russian polar explorer; 2x extra multiplier vs guardians making a ranged attack do 90 damage
worst = ottoman that gives movement speed? for a walking kebab lol

Brit Hero Card has swashbuckler attack,gives the explorer around 400 attack with 4 area.

Hero cards are only viable with civs with no age 1 villager shipment (Russia, Portugal, Japan).

The ones for Aztecs and Russia(mostly on Yukon though) are the most used in competitive, I guess those are the best ones.

I still doubt there is a 550c treasure which is half-way realistic to take
You might get 300c for 3 polar bears on Yukon though

You don't play this game enough. There is one.

on yukon and hudson bay there are many great opportunities for that mountain explorer card - mainly because you will get 2-3 polar bear tres basically for free, as in : 100w (x2), 135xp (x2), 150gold for 3wolves (x2) and even bigger tres like 550c (or sth like that) you can't just right click but are able to take with care (and probably a few ashi).

Best is without doubt mountain explorer card , give monjes double xp and resources when kill guardian and collet treasure, also Russia card increase explorer damage and hp 50%+ (used alot in yukon map to get alot xp and coin treasure guarded by polar bears) and of cource the dog very good tanker and can help take the fb down while is being built by 1 villager (dog hv 15 damage without penalt bonus versus vill so no vill can herd far hunt LOL).
Another good cards are fortress age sioux and astec shipments if i am not wrong, give explorer more 2 (or % ?) bonus damage versus cannons, other card give explorer area 2 (3 ) damage and critical attack.
For noob and troll game , send town destroyer , give iroque warchief 232 siege damage (can increase that sending age 1 explorer card 50%+ hp and damage) and all age 1 explorer card for TWC civs is good in troll game (they are very good tanks= 1000 or + hp in colonial)
Bad hero cards is Dutch card ( explorer build cheap town center, is not common Dutch make second tc), otto explorer have a little bit more speed, flying ballon abilit is bad also, alot beginner players use it, sioux invisible hero is the bad one since you use invisibility only for scout, he is fast enough to scout without that card and this card only available in age 4, it is same thing speak about good villagers upgrade card, sioux card give villagers alot attack (400% ) but only available in industrial age, only if you will start game in industrial or imperial age and playing troll mu to use this 2 cards.

Ok without a doubt it is the Aztec one. I just watch Hazzard stream where Stanley won a 3v3 by continually reviving his op 5000 HP explorer in a matter of seconds using fire pit. What can you do when your opponent has a constant damage tank who snares. It is unreal. Go back and watch Hazzard vods.....
