Let's start:
Here you have options, you can decide age up with 10 (as aizamk does) or 12 vills, with 12 vills is quite slower but better.
With wood start make as many shrines you can (about 2) send 300w and build 1 more shrine and consulate or save the wood to build consulate when 300 exp arrives.
Again you have 2 options:
*Age up with Shogunate for 400xp;
*Age up with Torii Gates to fake a rush by building a foward barrack with rickshaw and annoying opponent a bit with your samurai. Remember torri gives you xp bonus by building things and make units.
Transition to age 2:
*Just make about 4 vills and stop to be able to age up to fortress faster;
*If you want make the "fake rush" more credible put some vills on wonder to age fast to colonial (not good idea);
*Put just 3 vills and shrines on coin to reach 400c until 600c arrives, rest on food.
AGE2:
Send 600c and age up with Toshogu Shrine for 400 exp;
Send 300exp and make isolation (ally with japan itself in the consulate), IMPORTANT: ally after 300exp arrives to make relations cost 25 exp.
Transition to AGE3:
All vills go to coin for 1000c, shrines as well. You can put about 4 vills on wonder.
AGE3:
Once in age 3 you have about 900 exp (200exp that u have accumulated since game start +300 exp from the card + 400exp from age up wonder) and 1000c that your vills gathered in transition. Again here you have alot options:
900 EXP OPTIONS:
1) Get 3 Hatamotos (better option since Hatamoto has more stats than Ronin and makes better timing with 5 mercenaries Ronins to defend);
2)Get 6 Ninjas;
3)Get ~15 yamabushis.
1000C OPTIONS:
1) Get 2 shipments of 11 soheis;
2) 5 Ronins;
3)10 Ninjas.
When your 5 ronins shipment arrived you will be close to have another 1000c and another shipment if you keep all vills on coin without idle time, so it's important make this strategy in map with 2 coin mines in your base.
ANOTHER OPTION:
Instead of collect 1000c in transition to age3, u can just make vills and some ashigarus in your foward or in-home barrack and when you are in age 3 send intervention card and get 10 yamabushis and another 15 yamabushis from the consulate so:
25 yamabushi + ~8 ashi
Note: With spanish consulate you can make shipments arrive sooner with Merchant Marine up but with Aizamk's strategy you have to wait 1000c shipment arrives and collect it all before send 5 ronins who appear in your base 50% faster, it is almost same thing as send 5 ronins as soon you reach age 3 instead of wait for 1000c shipment.
The problem is wait for next 5 ronins or ninjas shipments or collect 1000c from mines if you are been attacked
