Post Your Decks Here!

Post by Interjection »

Hi everyone,

The invite degenerate has been pretty active recently and it's become necessary for casters & players to switch to GameRanger to provide coverage.

Obviously, this is frustrating because all our homecities are saved on ESO and rebuilding decks from scratch is time-consuming.

To make things quicker & easier, we're thinking about using ESOC Patch to automatically 'install' fully unlocked homecities with a couple of premade decks. Basically a land & water deck...

Then all players will need to do is swap out their last few preferred cards.

E.g., swapping out fulling mills for heavies - everyone has their own flair :hmm:

______________________________________________________________________

To build these decks though I need some input from top players.

Please post screenshots of your decks below, particularly for the civs you have the most experience with.

Thanks everyone! :flowers:

Why do you need people to post their deck ?
Can't you just check my Aztec decks, kaiser's Ger deck, erik fre deck and so on ? You surely know who are the best players with each civ.

@Interjection like Zeke said, it's probably faster with XML files, so that the devs don't have to recreate all the decks from the screenshots? Then I'd just upload a .zip of my relevant offline homecities. It's also faster for players actually, instead of taking a bunch of screenshots.
Really nice idea anyway

@Kaiserklein that is the idea actually, just first Inter is gathering decks from top players to include pre-made in such an XML file

I know the idea is to have EP directly implementing pre-made XML homecity files. But the OP is asking for screenshots, which means that I'd need to screenshot 10 decks or whatever, and that the devs will have to manually write a ton of XML files based on these screenshots. While if I just upload a .zip of my XML files, it's much faster for me, and the devs won't have to write the XML files since they'll have them already.

is it really that difficult? i think all Inter has to do is recreate the decks in an offline home city right? however i think Inter would still be pleased if you granted him the .zip's to a hc with 10 pre-made decks of yours

i could also be totally off-base with my understanding of how this works. if so i concede the point

Yeah I guess recreating them works too, and probably faster than writing the XML files, but it's still an extra useless step.
I'll upload a zip later

Yes, if it's for 1v1 or 2v2. I would play it in 3v3
