learning spain. questions.

2. what buildings to built first with your 700w.
3. in what order to send fortress shipments.

general spain tips if you have any. I have only read garja spain guide yet. only trying variations of ff right now.

1. Yes but problem with hand infantry is that goons/skirms easier can keep poking you. If you train rods, it's possibly better go for lancer-rod.
Rods are better to upgrade because you have rod, but no mosk shipments, so it can be ok.
2. Market/TP, rax, houses. Rax usually first so u can start spamming mosks.
3. Depends on MU, situation etc. But usually 2 falcs/9 rods/5 lancers. Even 12 pikes if u have shit to siege.

1. Yes rods are better in some match ups, typically vs germany
2. Usually you build a rax if you go for the low eco ff because you can't prod good batches of cav anyway. And since you don't have skirm shipments you kinda need to prod them. But for example vs otto abus jan you wanna go lancer, and I think in some situations going huss in transition and teching them to veteran is good
3. Usually falcs first or second card, along with anti cav shipments, and then cav shipments, but again it depends on the mu

If you age with huss doesn't it feel like you have very less anti cav to protect your falcs you'll basically have 10musk 4huss 1hero 1dog to protect your falcs since you'll be producing skirms from your rax.
Also i just played vs japan and i want to know how do i deal with shrines since by the time i have some heavy infantry i have to protect falcs with them. When do i have time to clean up shrines? Or do i clean them up when i loose my falcs.

Pikes are just really bad units compared to huss, so you should go with huss almost all the time. The main reason to age with pikes is if you need the extra siege and you're going for some kind of all-in.

i think its easier to defend ur falcs with 8 pikes due to mass and block so if i wanna 2 falc and push immediately i age with pikes

I usually click up to age 3 before any cav are in base but cav arrives when wood is on the floor and it becomes super tough to setup infrastructure and make musks. What do i do vs it?

I basicly do 2 main builds (sometimes there is variations) :
700g/700w/8pikes/2 falcs/5 lancer aging with 8 pikes and producing 5-10musk then skirms. This is a very scary push but a bit all on.
700g/700w/5v aging up with 4 huss, producing either huss or rods in transition. Can be followed by spanish gold. Anyway greedier plan push slower.

I think that's very basic but sticking to this 2 plans seem good to me to begin with spain.

You can still do that, spanish gold was just an option in the 2nd plan. Most of the time it's better not to send it anyway

ah yes lol I haven't played in a while, though I usually age with 8 pikes as well since it gives you immediate protection and you can push out quickly
