What happened to MUs of the Week?
I found the Match Up of the Week series to be very helpful since it explains what to look out for against a specific opponent and what my strengths/weaknesses are versus the other civ. It was especially valuable for mid-to-lower level players (like me), whose selection of civs is limited to 1 or 2 that they know relatively well and thus have to put up with whatever match ups they get, no matter how unfavorable it is to them.
So what happened to the MU of the Week series and can someone bring it back?

I used to do it at one point (I think it lasted a bit more than one month) but I used to be the only one to post, and people wouldn't debate so I gave up.
Initially it was Incog's idea but he isn't very active on ESOC anymore.

Really? That's a shame. I thought this community would be a lot more active in discussing strategies. Any chance it will be brought back due to popular (well, my) demand? I guess I can just ask about MUs myself but I don't think people will be any more inclined to respond to a lowly crossbow.

I can say with reasonable certainty that it will be back at some point but it's been on hiatus for now because of the relatively large amount of other content going on recently (showmatches, NWC, grand tour, etc.).
You can likely expect a return in the coming month or two.

I think most of us are only here for the stupid drama lol
Re: What happened to MUs of the Week?
It had been set aside for the time being. Priority was NWC, the main tournament that will lead to LAN in 10 days!! The in-between time was filled with weekend events and there are many great events coming soon too. Players were already busy with their tournament schedule, it wouldn't be nice to ask them for extra showmatches
Correlation doesn't mean causation.

Actually it used to be "MU of the week" instead of "MU of the month".
