How to deal with revolt lol?

So i'm now 0-2 or 0-3 against Otto Revolt. I semi-FF as Dutch or France, but can never hold the Militamen push, they counter Cav so well and with the Imperial Huss I don't see what combos stops this Musk-Huss on roids. Do you push when you see Industrial? Do you stay back? Do you age as well? Do you try and raid? I'm honestly about to declare Revolt as op-strat xD.

You're overthinking it too much. Get a ton of musks. Brit, sepoy, ashi, whatever. Militia are halfway between a musk and a skirm vs cav (countering all cav at range iirc) but a crappy unit vs infantry. If they dont have artillery then pure musk is fine. Russia can surovov. Imperial huss are tough but they still die to musks eventually. A couple falcs, etc. of your own doesnt hurt. Making skirm goon vs an otto revolt is suicide IMO

Kill his TPs to slow down the shipment progression (if the initial push fails, he's going to rely on the 16 militia shipment so if you can stall it, he's dead). Once you've identified that it's a revolt, mass muskets and train a couple culverins to deal with the 2 bombard shipment. Hide all of it behind a couple walls and pray.

I remember seeing a WickedCossack game a few years back where he got surprised by a Revolt and after losing almost everything he found a piece of land really close to the water and turtled there until he rebuilt enough to kill his opponent. basically tcs firing on ships, a fort, walls and rebuild near the shore where he just couldn't be killed. Iirc map was Yucatán and he was playing ports

A fast industrial will usually beat a revolt-- revolts are strong against people who stay in fortress and don't expect it. but if you can get an age 4 upgrade on a single anti-cav unit like goons or muskets, you can usually handle the imperial hussars eventually and then it's just a waiting game-- as long as you don't lose too much of your eco, you should be able to easily outlast a revolt

alternatively, I have successfully beat Otto revolt strategies by playing really aggressive early fortress strats with France and China. it's tricky because they can also just jan rush you, but if you are sure its a revolt, you can FF with France, train musks and goons and ship cannons and push hard. Or with China, I especially like China for this because you can take out their fort for free with hand mortars, which are the only Age 3 units that outrange a fort. Just make sure you have manchus and changdao to beat their spahis or mamelukes.

Would this be in good form? Typically running around the map to rebuild is seen as disrespectful and noobish, but does this not apply with a revolt?

If you do it early enough and they did that bot revolt with no factory, water or tp line you can recover over time (tey have 0 economy) and is legit
