Something is wrong with the unit's switch to bombard and limber mode. It takes ages to complete. The flying crow feels like some ships in aoe3 on water, the ones who take years to finally shoot. Click again and the animation starts again..princeofkabul wrote:sounds about crow pls buff zoiaaryngend wrote:If......princeofkabul wrote:honestly crows are fine if you get them to setup, people usually just don't care much about them and charge them into 20 hus occasionally. they're just hard to setup (animation is fucking weird) and slow as fuck.
I know I was never good but I never remember a single time where the flying crow did me any good. It kept dying accomplishing maybe 20% of what it should have..

Somehow industrial crows are really good though. I've never really understood why.

But why do they seem so shit in fortress and then get so seemingly great with the age 4 upgrade?Riotcoke wrote:Huge base damage, good range and you get so many of themRefluxSemantic wrote:Somehow industrial crows are really good though. I've never really understood why.

I mean 5 more range is huge, since you outrange other artillery. Also 1 more Splash is nice as well i guess. + The general statboost from Shadowtech.

It's basically the range yeah 23 to 28 is massive, like they lose to falcs in fortress but beat heavies in Indus

Oh yeah absolutely age IV crows are monsters with the range. Colonial crows are about as effective as 2 grenadiers, fortress its like an unholy union between grenadier and falconet and age 4 it's like a congreve rocket on roids
Re: Is the porcelain tower really better than the academy?
That must be it, I never used age IV crows much because whenever I used the wonder, it was to age 3, very rarely age 2 (for a quick cheesy all-in rush in team games).dansil92 wrote:Oh yeah absolutely age IV crows are monsters with the range.
