@ garja : when i have a safe mass of skirm the sioux have a safe mass of better unit than me and when he have its death balle, juste aclic my army with a thousand cav and fire pit to crush my face. I don't know if this mu have change a lot on the EP but on the RE i have never beaten a decent sioux player age 3 with spain, againt them = go rush or tricky FI (that can't worked on this patch).

Has it been considered on EP to make the Spanish cav combat upgrade goons as well? I don't doubt it was intentional by the developers as Spain is such a melee-focused civ, but it seems like it could be a good buff. Or is it too standardising?

Too standardising, better rodo can compensate the lack of strong goon. Spain just need a better xp bonus like on nilla.

ideally it would affect goons but rods should still be preferable > goons

It has always been that way... I think it kinda characterizes spain, to an extent. We should be able to find better solutions if spain is still in a bad spot after EP7.
