Strategy Help

Post by HeadKilla »

I have heard of a strategy but I cannot remember any of the details. Pretty sure it was for only France and it only works on YUKON, if I am not mistaken. Anyone ever heard of such a strat?

Yukon has a few features:
- Very good treasures in the north of the map
- Just like with a lot of RE maps, you can get severely hunt/mine screwed
- Nootka natives near the enemy

I have seen some people send their explorer card second to get good treasures, and I even saw Sioux send the card that allows axe riders to convert guardians. I don't have anything in mind for French though. Maybe sending 3 huss first or going for a native rush?

I think the essence of it was to join a lobby BUT not actually play. Preferable are Yukon lobbies.

But I am still confused. What civ do you have to choose?

There's that french card called northwest passage that makes your cdbs faster and gives them a bonus vs treasure guardian, so you can use them to help your explorer pick up a ton of good treasures on yukon. That's probably what the strat was. It's fun for sure, but if you're trying to win, I wouldn't recommend it

It's probably the Nootka HP + pioneers, actually, and training additional CDB from the Cree.

Just to resolve this: This Thread was a meme because we had a guy join our lobby the other day, saying he wants to tell us about a strategy. He then proceeded to indefinitely say that it only worked with french. And only on Yukon. But you need to be french, and the map can't be anything other than Yukon. He seemed very excited but didn't get to the point. But yes he was referring to the nw-passage meme. Bram then proceeded to tell him its bad and his heart was broken. RIP nomps heart 2019-2019.

But actually now i wanna try double "rax" nootka hp + pioneer cdb rush :uglylol:
