Japanese Club Rush vs Spain

Will this build work against Spanish FF, especially against no-eco one? I mean 300 wood-300 export-5 ashi-5ashi.

yea it works but u dont want 300 exp cause u want japanese ally before. rather smth like 2v/300w - 5 ashi - 5 ashi/4v depending if u can already siege tower, up with shrine and build cons during up

Maybe it is rather better to send export, because you’ll have nice siege unit? Or I am wrong?

if the Spanish player knows you're going to rush he'll place his tower in base so in that situation there'll be no fb for you to destroy in the first place. the build somppu suggests is going to give you 5 more ashis while 300exp gives you 6 more clubs. i think clubs are better vs spain for obvious reasons(no ri shipments) so I'd go for 300exp but it's up to you to choose which variation you want.

and from my experience you'll be in time to destroy the fb with 300exp sent first

They can counter it with building placement, keeping their explorer alive, punching with vils, and calling minutes appropriately.

I don’t think it’s viable to win a game outright on the rush and I didn’t even do the no eco FF. I would send 5 vils as Spain even while being club rushed.

I also don’t forward tower vs Japan which I guess the opponent would do if he’s an all in kind of guy.

Basically if they identify your rush and are playing in base you need to have a plan that involves damaging them and transitioning into the mid game.

if spain towers in base you just boom with more shrines and use export on rickshaw and then clubs and just wait to use that as a rax, its a highly adaptable build. u can pretty much 600w first regardless but if he forward towers u just train clubs and ship 5 ashi after wood

As ryan said, I don't think that the rush is that great.
I never managed to make it work, the ashis die in 2 TC shots so you'll waste a lot of ressources.
600w/5ashis sounds good against a forward tower. Then either age for FA if you think you have enough time or mass ashis/nagis and pull the vills.

The idea of the rush is mostly to force the game into Spain having to push with 2 falcs and get caught by staggered ashi + some nagis. It's pretty much as Spain vs Brits work, except Jap has stronger tech advantage.
