Is the problem getting the houses in transition and then you are behind the rest of the build?

Did you ever test if switching to train dance earlier helps with that? Or are you just not gonna have enough food in time?

You don't have enough food. If you want you can make 2 extra vills and go for the training dance, but you're still going to age 30+ seconds later.

Ye, that's before it was nerfed to the ground.
It was tier 1 on the RE, a nice surprise strat on EP5, and now it simply shouldn't work against a good opponent.

Ye, it's because of the WC nerf, and you can't FI anymore either as a result.

why do you need vill on food for BB jag in colonial?

i guess it's because you build your warhut quiet late from the 700 wood of the second shipment so a very fast pressure like two uhlans raid from first shipment of germany while you are building this warhut can be defended by this big button if needed

Regardless of the patch it's outdated, there are better strategies now. The 2 skull build is worse than the fast age up build, though the difference is not huge.

Is it true that beyond age 2 Pumas and Maces don't have value? I often see the Mace temple card in decks, along with the inifinite mace card in age 4, which is why I wonder if maces aren't legit for age 3 and 4, too.

Maces are good in late game too, you want to make eagle knights instead of pikes in age 3+ however.

Jaguars are bad so they don't replace anything haha. Honestly, pumas might be better than jaguars even in age 3^^.

Erk is your main unit in age 3 but erk is a goon type unit while maces are bows so you need both.

A common mistake Aztec players make is not putting villagers onto the firepit for attack dance for crucial battles. 10 WP is 21% attack boost, add 15 villagers and it jumps to 38%. For key battles that extra 17% can make all the difference.
