He can have like 20 musk 8 huss with 3 huss otw if no Tp, with tp he will have pikes too. Even if you trade even, he will come with more reinforcements and you wont have cover for 8 skirms. You should try this matchup vs mitoes french

and btw you said 16 uhlans not 20 :p

Make 5 while aging? If he has a tp he will have 10musk/5huss/10 pikes which is still holdable.

im pretty sure that on non tp maps france wins in age 2 just by pressuring and not letting gather resources. On TP maps maybe it is better to do apply some pressure with musk hus and then age.
Regarding to the composition france should go in age 3 vs germans do you think vet musk cuir falcs is actually better than goon skirm? I have seen veni doing this on his stream a long time ago and saying that it works

actually i wanted to write a guide about that matchup . but i havent had the verve to do so yet . quick overview about the matchup on tp maps germany should iwn pretty easily and non tp maps its about even probably french favoured if i had to choose one favourite

pike/huss rush:
Age 1 : 3 vils hunting dogs
Transtion : get first gold upgrade and 40 wood
Age :build a forward stable and a rax, que 1 pike 1 huss and ship 700w and after that 600w

this build i pretty good vs german bc u can just kill all his houses.

Vs a bad ger go musk/huss+10 pikes, vs a good ger, semi and burn his tp is your best bet.

I''d say that you should still semi vs bad ger just because it is the safer option and it allows you to abuse a skill advantage more.

Cav pike rush into cav musks for france always does pretty good for me. If you try to timing push at 8 min ofc the ger will probs have enough mass to defend, and if france goes semi ger should win in early fortress

The thing is that you can t really push before 7:30 coz 9uhlans+mm just beat your army at this point.
The ger can even stay colo a bit longer like 3SW/700w/700g that's what garja and goongoon do.

You can raid and burn stuff with cav/pike without really getting punished for it (unless you overcommit ofc). 9 uhlans + mm don't kill shit if you're not too close to the tc, you just run in time and then uhlans cant really snare pikes

You can kill the tp sure but you can't commit near his base to harass vills before 8min.
And at this point a good ger will just hold.

You can raid vils and burn houses/stable. If you start burning german houses he will have to mm asap or he will be pop capped, which really sucks because it means he won't even be able to ship crates since they have uhlans coming with it. So they just mm and you just go back, i did this a ton of times and never lost my pikes. Then you burn the tp with your pikes while mm prevent you from sieging. You can try to raid carefully to idle him, if you manage not to get trapped. Then come back with musks and kill the mm, burn houses. The german guy's best bet is switching dops, which is really a pain since they suck as soon as france gets musks. If they ship 8 bows they die to cav pike.

+1, played this mu several times always won with german or lost to german.... he can constantly ride you even if u semi aswell... the free uhlans just overspam your huss...
