Grenade Rush with Russia ?

Hi all

Is it possible an efficient rush with Russia using Grenade + musk ?

grenaders are really slow to train its pretty hard on high levels...

No, its not. mm and cav just wreck grens, even dogs do. Can''t think about any civs who couldn''t deflect the rush.

Dutch grenadier rush will take down TC at 7th minute.

Your enemy wins without TC anyway.

Russia, it just sucks, even grenadier rush sucks with Russia.

Ok thanks, so Grenade in Russia may be useful only for a late late colonial fight

It might be good as a surprised BO once in a while.
I have seen a Spain rush with grenadier vs japan very effective when the opponent was not prepared for it.
I think it was Poissondu44 vs Buakaw. They played a few Spain / Japan MU together, very entertaining games and I learn a lot from them.

gren are pretty weak unit, so you will need to outplay to make up for the handicap of making gren
