How do resource crates pop out of the TC?

When you play china or spain you really want to gather your gold crates as fast as possible so you can age up. But a lot of times, I see there is a lot of room on the left for example for the 500g crate to spawn so I have 5 vills there, but then it trolls me and spawns on the right side. Is there a way to predict where it will spawn? Or any tricks on how to gather the crates faster? It's super annoying when you pop vills out of the TC onto crates and they walk around ALL the crates until they start gathering.

With your eco rally point, you can choose where the crates will spawn.

Basically what diarouga said. The crates will spawn on the same side you have your rally point set to. However, if there are units/hunts/trees/etc. right next to the TC when they spawn, they will spawn around them, sometimes resulting in those awkward crate positions .

I think he meant on which side of the line of the 3 crates (in case of 700g). For example if you look at it from left to right will it be 100 100 700 or 700 100 100. I think the case 100 700 100 is impossible unless you whole town is surrounded and the placement is really unpredictable. Or better said - is it clockwise, counterclockwise or there is no such pattern?

If there is a pattern its the 500 furthest away clockwise. I think.

This is one of those things you could easily test yourself.

You get the largest crate on a line joining your tc and the rally. For ex. If you you have tc at y and your rally point at x then assume the shortest and straight line between y and x. The largest crate will spawn on this line closest to Tc. other crates from your point of view would spawn in a clockwise position around.

you can put some vills in the tc, set tc waypoint to the big crate, then pop them out quick. other vills can walk so they come from 2 sides

Let's discuss how we all can safe 1 second worth of gathering time. In general I would just get 6-7 villagers ready and idle in front of where the crates will spawn and then they will gather it up themselves quite quickly.
