Most Fair Match-ups

The reverse of the topic of most unfair match-ups.

Which non-mirror match ups you think are the most fair at an equal skill level? Also provide a reason to support your statement.

This is my list:

1)Chinese vs Germans: I find Germany the only civ which actually has something to counter the Chinese FF

2)India vs Japan: I find it equally hard for both civs to play this match-up.

3)French vs Ottoman: The musk semi is just very good strat, quite fast and highly viable vs Ottomans and vils can fight too so you don't easily get rekt. I'm very comfortable to pick French in this MU rather than any other civ.

On a map with a decent food, brit should beat france. And on a TP map, germany beats france too.

Also, ottoman vs france is not fair. Even tho its not the easiest match up for otto, they still beat france (btw huss semi will often be better than musks semi, the only case where musks semi is better is against a jan rush, but then just go bows really).

I think germany vs brits is almost fair, tho at high level brits will win I think.

i think brits vs ottoman is quite fair because on the start brits can make lbow and then with the 2 musket cards he can make muskets vs the janissaries.

Its otto Favorited IMO

Brit gets crushed hard by otto on any Map where brit can't have three hunts and berries in base....And on those maps otto can just ff and crush brit....

Chinese vs ger is quite fair indeed. India vs jap isn't, on land maps jap just win and fre vs otto is fair as long as the otto ff, but a good otto will jan/abus and you'll loose.
ger vs brit is fair, fre vs brit as well.

Port vs dutch, iro vs otto, india vs china, sioux vs azzy are quite fair.

umhh..it is a good civ but not op, french german are better for me. Brit has good units, but is not so fast and too much depending from map. i think

Brit vs Germany is unfair on a non TP map for Germany. Same for French vs Germany. Germany rekts both on TP maps.
Ports vs Brits is very unfair
Azzy India is fair
Otto vs French okay, Otto vs Germany is harder for Germany
China vs Otto is fair till Otto goes FF. On a bad map China lose vs otto jan rush, not even close.
Otto India is unfair. Theres no way India wins.
Brit vs Dutch is very unfair for Dutch.
Spain vs Brits is worst match for Spain in tournaments
Russia vs Brits is okay
Japan vs Iro Otto is impossible
China rekts Japan

Russia wins vs Spain with timing push. On non TP map its still fair, harder for spain.

Russia vs Port is fair till age 3. After age 4 its impossible for Russia unless you play like a god.

why dutch-brits unfair?? for me jap vs otto/iro is hard MU but not impossible, but depend from the map (TP). I dont think port brits is unfair, maybe becouse i remeber Eclipse playing them

for me german>'>' brits, can someone post me a rec. good one, where brit wins vs a good ted and french player??
