I didn t read the thread but no (it can improve your walling skills and maybe increase your apm but it will not help you to micro).
Re: Treaty games helps you to improve your Micro and macro?
Well obviously playing the game itself can improve your micro and macro (it doesn't matter if treaty, sup or even DM). To which extend is another question, but you can't really objectively measure it.

It helps a bit of course but not much compared to playing sup.

Well it's different kind of micro, you won't really have many culv battles in sup whereas you don't need to always press alt in treaty to see which musketeer has the lowest hp to focus him down
Re: Treaty games helps you to improve your Micro and macro?
whaaat. i'm always, always, always pressing on alt. knowing unit HP is instrumental to culv micro. even when there isn't artillery on the field you can use it to get more value out of certain expensive units, like pulling back low-hp howdah or war wagons. it's also needed for understanding the dynamics of unit positioning
in regards to the thread in general, everything you do in treaty is to set yourself up so you can micro. logical deduction

I also do that a lot, but it's not as necessary as in sup except for art micro

Re: Treaty games helps you to improve your Micro and macro?
I think 50% of sup micro is decision making. Maybe even more. Its more positioning correctly than having the playing speed to position correctly I think. Like the focus fire thing matters, and sometimes you misclick or sth, but the biggest thing is really taking all factors into account and turning that into the correct decisions. Macro is different aswell. Its more about managing idle vills and getting the correct allocations than about producing units, which doesnt really happen in treaty.
You do just train your overall skill like apm and mouse accuracy and minimap awareness and stuff. Just general aoe3-related mechanics get improved aswell.
