Oh my, I thought this was for 100g start. I think manors > market actually.

Nah it's not the full context. The problem was more : if you have 0 gold treasure, which is better ? Because you then have to mine 50 extra gold.
I'm not even saying market is worse btw, just it's more greedy if you have to mine 50g because you will age up 1 vil later (or with idle time but it sucks), especially on a 200f start. 300w means slightly less eco but you will age up idleless

Market always unless an aggressive aklak style build for example. Market allows gang saw as well as a much smoother steel traps

2 mannors are better cause they allow you to age up at 2:40. But market is so smooth since you research gang saw earlier.

If you can build the market and age at 4:10, do it. But often you can't, then it's better to build 2 manors.

This is a good question. Once i tried to learn which one was best but i gave up and now I just do 2 mannors because it takes less brain capacity to do so hahaha
Another thing I cannot figure out is the ageup option... But that discussion is enough for a whole new thread ^^

it all depends on the mu imo.

if u need to be fast and prepare for agression or be agressive, i would go 2 houses.

if u want to age fast but just have to defend minor pressure (like cav raids), I would go 1 house 1 market.

If you just want to be as greedy as possible, I'd go 2 houses 1 market.

When doing aklak rush, it's 3 houses.

My favorite option is to go tp 3vill VC. You'll only need to chop 35 wood and you still get 700w on time. Obviously it only works in some MUs though cause it's super greedy. In any other MU I would go two manors unless you find treas and then market if you do.
