It's not necessarily bad vs China if they go for cav spam, but I think WW are better.
Vs Spain I think it's probably not very good.

Re: An Incomplete Guide to Germany
you are missing an [\spoiler] or whatever the command is at the end of Dopp/Uhlan Aggression & Semi-FF, because of this the 3SW 700w naked FF is wrapped up inside the other build

Ok. I have played as and against germany with mass dopps in age 3 to surprise the death ball, and its worked fairly well, but I think your recommendation for war wagons is probably much better.
I don't really play germany at all, but would like to start playing them in team games a little bit. What suggestions do you have for team builds? Is the 2-tp semi a good idea?

Re: An Incomplete Guide to Germany
I dont think war wagon is a good choice against china.
War wagon can beat chinese cav, but they can't deal with melee redcoat/swordsmen mixed in cav at all. They can't kite, and china just put everything in melee, attack move, and win.
I'd prefer sending 9 blackrider, then 13 jaeger directly. Early blackrider can kite his cav easily, while he won't have enough arquebusier to snipe down a single one. And jaeger can ensure your huge advantage in ranged fights. 9+13 can give you a huge kill/loss ratio, and avoid a fight vs his melee mass.

Re: An Incomplete Guide to Germany
I do both blackrider and WW vs china and try to win with big skirm mass. That or just spam uhlan in his base and age and push with 9 uhlan shipment ( I think if china does something like 700w 9 pike 700c tho they can easily beat that build but im not sure)

Re: An Incomplete Guide to Germany
tl:dr
1. take tp and send 3 SW
2. Spam uhlans, if being rushed ship 8 bows, MM and z-move uhlans
3. go III and spam more uhlans and ship skirms (or uhlans)
4. z-move uhlans
1. take tp and send 3 SW
2. Spam uhlans, if being rushed ship 8 bows, MM and z-move uhlans

4. z-move uhlans

Even if this were true it'd still be more complex than z-move sepoy

Btw on food start what to get during transition. Obviously tp is better but do i also build a market if yes how many upgrades do I gather for/how many upgrades can I even gather for during transition after gathering for a tp.

Gather for a tp, build the tp first, then get a market down and gather 125 wood for hunting dogs and placer mines, 150 if you're going to for steel traps later and then remacro to gold/food whilst making sure you place as many villagers in queue as you can with having 1 pop slot free.

You can’t steel traps if you do tp+Market in transition, I’d say going HD+ placer mines and chopping an extra 25w for steel traps later with 700w. Otherwise if you steel traps in transition then you will get a terrible 1st batch of units, like 3uhlan

Ye that's what i meant chop 150 wood instead of 125 so you can get hunting dogs + placer mines and have the 25 w extra leftover for the steel traps later.

Yeah it’s not realistic, I can’t think of a match up where you can afford to do that
yeah not worth doing that as germany, im just a bot

Re: An Incomplete Guide to Germany
The right answer is you should anyway almost always have a TP or a market in age 1, even if it's 300f 100w. All you need is a 50g treasure for hunting dogs, a tight macro, and you'll have 700f at the 17th vil. Same with a 50w treasure for a TP on a map with a good early TP. Livestock/food treasures help too.
Then there's like these 5% of games or so where you'll be unlucky and find no relevant treasure and you'll probably age 18 (since you have to commit to chopping/mining right at the start). But it's definitely worth the risk. Going for both TP and market in transition is just painful as germany

Re: An Incomplete Guide to Germany
Also, in a majority of cases, you don't get steel traps upon age up as germany. It's not overly impactful anyway with like 10 vils on food, so you delay it until 700w. That way you consistently get 5 uhlans out, which is very important in cav wars.
When you ff though, you get it upon age up. Also works if you had great treasures in age 1, or if you already have market + tp (think florida), or some greedy semi ff. Or when starting xbow since a batch of bows is easy to get anyway.
