Warhammer 40K Dawn of War 2

Hi, I created this post to ask you if there are any warhammer 40,000 dawn of war 2 players playing multiplayer currently. I would like to know, before shopping, if multiplayer is played and there is an official community / fans and tournaments.
I know it's a dated game but aoe3 was too old before the Final edition and so I don't know if the gae is rumn by a fan comunity.

Hi, to my understanding there is a small community still playing, but it is even less active than current AoE3 TAD ESO.
The few remaining players are playing the game through an unofficial "Elite" patch/mod, something like ESOC Patch I guess.

Wow, thanks eaglemut, glad to hear that. I imagined that, however, if there was a community it was smaller than the former esoc.
