At my schools (and I’ve never heard of anything different), there was nothing in elementary school, optional 2 years in middle school, and mandatory 2 years in highschool (if you didn’t do it in middle school). When you enter college you also take a second language exam, and if you don’t pass then its mandatory 2 classes. By far the most common second language people take is Spanish.

That doesn't make sense. You don't die in 1 hour. It should say "at the end of the game", implying that the game is so long that you die in the meantime.
