I don't understand why people are so against walls, I mean I get it but if you look at aoe 4, walls are set to play an even more role in gameplay.

one layer of Wall isn‘t the problem. The problem is multiple layers of walls that take ages to tear down and only 5sec to rebuild

Walls would be useless in any other case. It would also be historically inaccurate if somehow a bunch of pikeman where able to tear it down in 5 seconds. 20 something musk's or pikes can tear down older 3k wall in 15-20 seconds the newer one in half time which is pretty fast, so dont really see an issue.
