then you know there is more then one side to consider here and you will prolly agree that we do not want any bullieng - from basement or Jerom, or who ever
Hippocrits are the worst of animals. I love elifants.
I am also a member of the basement, just not active on here. However you feel about some of the silliness and jokes, you have to admit that the members of the basement really do care about the game. And with the marathon stream and other activities, you also have to admit that we do care about the community as well. They should be allowed to be a part of the forums.

Hi, welcome to the forums! I hope you enjoy your time here.

22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

I propose unbanning the basement members, but blocking their access to the offtopic section, because that's the only place where they shitpost.
If they post ontopic anywhere else, then it's fine. After a few months, if everything goes well you could allow them access to an offtopic board again.

I think that's the most reasonable compromise.
I think the trouble with making exceptions like this is that our bans might not have the same integrity that they would otherwise hold. What is the point in banning someone if they think they can just come back a few months later?

I want to reply to this post, cos I really cannot see that the basement guys did anything worse than many other ppls in this community - and those ppl are not banned. I get that they made some enemies, who would like them gone, but that should not be a reason for perm ban - as I can see it. I think you banned them "as an exception" pretty much. That is why I would advice you to unban them "as an exception". Un-do a wrong, with doing the right thing

It is not up to me, but I will look into it just for you

Let me make my point a bit clearer: if they were just banned for a period of time, they should stay so until their ban expires. I'm not advocating for an exception. I only argued that they shouldn't be banned permanently, unless their offence was something much more serious than just shitposting or "insulting" someone they had beef with.
This is just ridiculous, all of you get your sh*t together and act like actual persons rather than internet trolls. Gosh why is every thread getting annoying after the first page

Existing content of The Basement includes Tip of the Day/Week series, the Revolt podcast, the charity Telethon and the TTM tournament. Most prominent members of The Basement are @evilcheadar and @fightinfrenchman, both of whom are currently banned from posting for an extended amount of time on the grounds of continuous trolling/baiting on the forums. Note that the outcome of this poll may or may not affect any decision from the staff team, but we would like to know how our community at large feels about this delicate issue and take it into account.
Thanks!
