The Basement Goes to London
Me and some other Basement members (the exact number is still to be determined) are planning a trip to London in October. This thread will be used to post about our adventure, but for now we're looking for suggestions of what to do there and in the surrounding area outside of the more obvious tourist attractions.

Will you come to NL as well?
Time is wise and our wounds seem to heal to the rhythm of aging,
But our past is a ghost fading out that at night it’s still haunting.

We are only planning on being there for about a week so probably not, although there is interest in future Basement trips to Europe

How about visiting the most historic bars in the area?

London is a tourist trap. If you really want to go tourist in England, you should visit a historical town like Oxford or Bath, or if you like natural scenery visit the Lake District or the Hebrides. Don't come to London.
Top quality poster.

Firstly , if you really want to experience English culture you aren't going to find it in London. If you're visiting london make sure you go to a pub, some pubs in london are older than the United States. Also visit the British Museum, it has artefacts from thousands of years ago there and there is a lot to learn.
