I bought a "large" coffee from McDonalds for $4. It was 0.4 L or 13.5 oz but well under filled so probably 12 oz.. In America that's the smallest coffee size you can possibly get and a large is 20 oz to 24 oz.

I want very badly to drink some Amsterdamian beer and strike up a conversation with someone but I'm with a church group and the median age is like 65 and the median BMI like 28 and well it just wouldn't be appropriate.

From my personal esperience if you start complaining about basically everything you see you'll synergize very well with people who present those traits. The "why do we have to walk so much?" is also a good catchphrase to start a convo i'd say.

I didn't keep the adress sry @BrookG My point was it never happend in other countries, so having it twice means something. Like if it happends very few times with the same probability everywhere, that's litterally impossible that it happends 2/2 on the same city and like 0/1000 everywhere else. That being said my first trip was still not so bad since people were quite friendly and I appreciated the bars . The 2nd was bad though since I was sick after the 1st lunch.
Nothing crazy : a kind of sauerkraut I think and the 2nd time that was just a steack with chips. That being said, I agree with people who said there is plenty of bad food places on big touristic cities in general, but I think this is worst in Amsterdam.
