There's a gnat flying around my room. I keep clapping my hands around it to try to kill it, but I keep missing. My hands hurt because of this.

Another thing that makes me cringe is my bizarre idea of sending eco upgrade cards(s) even though I am under siege.

"In 666 seconds I can make more units than him!!"
Later when I check the villager graph, I realize that I lost way more vills than any eco card can ever make up for.

It is also time for a civ change. With immediate effect: Germany is my new civ. (like GUA)

you seem to play an awful lot vs ppl better than you. Which is not bad at all, since you're constantly reminded of your shortcomings, but you won't be winning as often. Play vs other MS or 2.d Lts instead and you will win more

It's the herding that's all the difference. The herd, should be herded correctly to ur towncenter

I'm sometimes herding 3 different hunts in age 1, causing a lot of walking time and wasted villager seconds.
Another drawback is that I forget where the villagers are on the map, so eventually they will die to raids.

A year or so ago, when I cared about winning, I would flame my opponent for his poor herding, even though the very reason that he won was due to my over-herding.

I still do it even though I know it's wrong :hehe:

Yea... Back to playing Brits again! All that noise about SW's is not worth my time. Sometimes I task a normal villager, when I intended to select a SW, which pisses me off. Sir Musket also told me not to use SW's for herding, which makes my "3 hunt herding" age 1 gambit impossible with Germany.

What was your sin? For me it was walling up the map and spamming LB instead of resigning after we base-traded

I think he started disliking me when i lamed his herding vill with the french scout and also everytime he quit with the "hunt" excuse i accused him of quitting if he had a bad start (somehow he always quit when i got middle tp first pass). That i got good and started beating him handily while also beginning to trash talk a bit because he never said gg probably didnt help either. Suggesting he play Esocmaps if map balance is so important to him was the nail in the coffin. So i think he couldnt handle the truth. xD

Maybe we should make a thread: "How did u get pested by Greatscythe?" :D

@Snuden I've done the same mistake of trying to herd three or four hunts simultaneously for some time, with the same result. Since I focus on two (with one "main" herd to guard and an eye on the second, hiding the vill if I scout raids), I've been significantly better off. Trying to always herd two at the same time seems optimal to me

You don't even herd your 3rd/4th. You just put a tower or park your units there.
