2h 25 min.

Here you can see how India beats Iro FF, even after insane age 1 for Iro.

Step 1: Rush, do the damage. Shoot vills, deny crates, kill hero, idle him.
Step 2: He ages up. Go back to side, get your eco up and prepare to age up.
Step 3: Now it's going to be FP in your base. You barely started aging. What to do? Make a counter attack with leftovers sepoys, kill more vills and force him move back.
Step 4: Now you reached Fortress. Here, continue harass with raids sepoys, ship urumis. Once opponent is distracted with your sepoy raid, pop urumis and half of your army to his face and clean or damage his main army permanently.
Step 5: If he is not resigned yet, you will simply outeco and outmass. Spam more sepoys, use cease fire, go industrial, the world is yours.

One of the best india games where I stay in control all game despite being much slower civ.
Comments? :)

Funny I even said while commenting that you'd make a thread on esoc about it haha. You're just pathetic. You being so proud to beat me just shows you know how much worse than me you are xD even when I'm barely trying cause I didn't even want to play in the first place

Emm? This thread is not about you. It's about India-Iro matchup. I think I played a great game against a counter civ and wanted to help others struggling at it.
No reason to be aggressive.

Ah ok, then I'd like to tell anyone who wants to learn this match up to not go 5 sepoys 4 sowars vs in base iro warhut, because it's the worst thing you can do

It's a great Iro FF counter. I played this MU versus breeze in mono-civ cup. The trick is going back and preparing to counter-push after, not stay under TC. Just mastering this match-up as I'm quite experienced with it :)

It's not, according to somppu a few months ago

It's often considered as Iro favoured, even though I don't completely agree. Though, against somali tactics it can become tricky!

Tank you for showing how to succeed in a difficult matchup! May i be so bold as to ask, honestly- would mantlets *hypothetically* be a solid way to counter this urumi sepoy style of india?

Lol now it's gonna mislead lower level players...

This is one of those nightmare games where one self inflicted mistake leads to 10 more. This is basically useless to the mu imo. I think Kaiser even still had a chance at the end

I was just playing like a captain lol, it's obvious iro wins this very easily if you play remotely well

This is war, that's what you get when you bully somali :uglylol:

Iro counters India quite hard. It's been a while.

Too slow to run from urumis

50% RR though (RR is relevant vs Urumi right?) and Urumi have no multipliers vs Mantlets.

Also is this thread a meme or not lol?

I think ideally you'd want to kite urumis, not engage since they have area damage. That's why i think mantlets wouldn't be that great vs urumis.

RR is great vs urumis as they deal ranged damage.

I tested it out and mantlets space out far enough to not take splash damage from urumi and resist 50% of the damage- so they actually make a great way to block urumi! Forest prowler mantlet > urumi sepoy XD

Says 'I'm losing vs a captain' during the game and then says 'I played like a captain' after the game ends. Makes a lot of sense.

I have that feeling often as well.
