I thought it originated from Kaiserklein who types eZ after doing some sick micro, eg the Falconet-Fusilier pull (look at funniest Aoe3 Moments by Interjection).

Good point, it was probably Gibson. Gibson is the best aoe streamer too so it makes sense.
