I was thinking the other day that I understand everyone deserves to express themselves and just because I don't understand or appreciate something does not mean others do not derive some value for themselves. OK flower power

But why do the ESOC forums need to be his outlet? There are millions of forums he can go provide zero value to and actually deter users from. Why are you letting it be ESOC? What responsibility do you have to him? Just because he has the right to express himself, does not mean he has the right to do it wherever he wants. I just don't get it.

You could say this about any poster. I'm sure if you asked anyone here who they would like to see less of, they would have at least a couple of answers for you. Some are triggered by spam, some by bigotry, some by negativity, some by personal attacks, etc. If we banned everyone who triggers someone here, we'd have no one left.

Ear is part of this community. If the community didn't want him here, it would let him know. If you don't enjoy his sense of humor that's too bad, but yours isn't the only possible take. It's understandable though that, being in staff, you would be under the impression that it's a common take. It is within staff, but not so much in the off-topic community.
