well basically this is a sequel to a famous post i made when i hit 1000 posts, but this one is for 10k posts.

esoc has been great these past four and a half years, and i have to once again thank evil cheadar for introducing me to it. i also want to thank all the great people i’ve met here, many irl thanks to the wonderful lan tourney

i miss the days of the pool chemical shitposts back when i worked in a pool store for some reason.

i’m glad so many people have been infected by the same mind virus i have regarding liebe, sand, gustav max, etc.

i want to call attention to many of the great posts i’ve made over the years. please go back in my profile and check out some great posts made before the ‘like’ button was added and like them now

now it’s time to review the off topic posters once again:

incog/kami ryu: a bit of a split personality but mostly cool. likes planes and is thus ultimately responsible for when I take a discovery flight and crash the plane into a field

Amsel: has bad opinions but often makes enough good posts to make up for them. dislike his avatar for no real reason

evilcheadar: great posts, just wish he would post as much as me

Iwillspankyou: hasn’t been posting as much recently but have to give a shout out for starting the longest thread in esoc history

gustavusadolphus: not posting much, and his posts are only okay tbh

SirCallen: really good posts, just sometimes hard to understand so I just hit that like and act like I understood

RefluxSemantic: in the back of my head i still have doubts this is Jerom because he makes too many good posts

jesus: not actually Jesus. Mostly fine

Goodspeed: is sort of the head honco of off topic now. I like that he basically gives carte blanche permission for shitposting

Xeeleeflower: doesn’t post enough even though she lurks. i briefly worried she would “liebe” in Manchester because she booked the Airbnb

Eaglemut: best mut, no doubt about it

Mr Bramboy: i can’t tell where the irony ends and sincerity begins. generally bad posts

Duck: not posting enough despite having that green color i envy

Dolan: not good post

zoom: you do the EP i guess. i appreciate that work because of the drama it leads to with people acting like each update is some life-ending event

Riotcoke: whenever I see his name i think “the new guy” for some reason

Horsemen: his bojack avatar makes me read his comments in the voice of will arnett

n0el: seems to travel a lot. i appreciate his post frequency

Rikikipu: i appreciated his contributions to the famous liebe thread

Jam: an expert poster, i often want to give him “esoc gold”

Hazza: doesn’t like the off topic too much which is a shame

Metis: miss ya bud

edeholland: i shared a room with you and it was fine. your posts are generally not so great though

Djigit: i don’t like his avatar so i get annoyed even when he occasionally makes funny posts

Howlingwolfpaw: very into conspiracy theroies. reminds me of that guy i met in the woods that one time:

thebritish: haven’t seem him in a while but i regularly think about his “motherboard” post and laugh to myself

Ashvin: some funny posts even though we often have disagreements

princeofcarthage: supports authoritarians for some reason? idk

Snuden: some funny posts occasionally, 666

i look forward to the next 10,000 posts, which will hopefully happen much more quickly than these last 10,000. some were delayed due to my 3 permanent bans in that time period, as well as the horrible 1 year ban, which lasted a painful several months.

He wouldn't make a post with recs for a tourney he was in because he was at 9999 posts and didn't want to get to 10k. An admin used his account to make the post giving him 10k posts. He proceeds to throw a temper tantrum and leave the community.
