It's not even about reaching a specific age for that, very young people on the net can also claim to be 16-18 while actually being 10 or 11. To sum up, people are prone to lying, no matter the age, young or old.

But think about this: some people can use the age to insult someone, imagine like 3 high-rated players, two being 21 and 23, while the other is 34 or so, the older guy might get constantly made fun of for being the no-lifer who is still playing so much at such a "high" age

I think the average age on 3v3 Deccan games is probably 20. Seems like a lot of childish behaviour there. Wouldn't be surprised if it's about 25 or so here. I started playing online at 14 I think, a couple years after I got "aoe3 gold"
