AOE2 Pros sign to a new Org!

It looks like it is the same 6 players that were signed to Team Secret. Their contracts ended earlier this year with Team Secret and they were unable to come to an agreement for a resigning with Team Secret. I'm kinda surprised they didn't get signed to a larger more well known org. It looks like this org is based in germany tho, and I think most of the players live in germany so that makes sense. It's always awesome to see players in the age of empires community making moves! Congrats to all the players, and I look forward to seeing what they do with their new org.

Orgs can sign pro players or content creators. Or a mix of both. You dont necessarily have to compete and win tournaments to get signed to a big org.

The players will be repping and advertising the team they work for. I have no idea what type of contact they signed but for example maybe each player will get 50% of the money from merchandise sale, and the org gets 50%. Maybe the org will pay them a salary and the org will take a % of their tournament winnings. (It's prob doubtful the org would take any % the tour winning, but in other games you see it). The org will also have sponsors so the streamers may be advertising the sponsors that the org has. The org may also bring additional sponsors to the streamers were the streamers and the org would split the money from the sponsorship to some degree.

I think Team Secret grabbed most of the top players and well known guys in aoe2 ,they recently won Omega League in dota 2 ,finals with a clean sweep 3-0 ,they should reconsider & agree with players ,i mean getting Viper and big bois in their team is a free win basically.

wow nice, I guess Liery is next to go to storm? Thats awesome for the aoe2 community. I'm sure these org will be investing into aoe2 in some regards. Tournaments, advertising the game, or other stuff. I'm quite sure there will be big things coming for the aoe2 community.

Liquid already sent me a offer, but I think I'll make a deal with Jin Air Green Wings. Maru is a good practice partner, and sOs is looking to be the new Aiz with DE.
