Super Secret ESOC Memes Olympics From the Past

Hello, and welcome to the ESOC Memes Olympics roundup!

You may be thinking to yourself that there haven't been any ESOC Meme Olympics. You would be correct. However, I have gone into the past and completed the rankings retroactively. Come see how you placed in the competition you didn't know you were competing in!

The items below will be separated into overall rankings, yearly rankings, and ESOC patch rankings. Each section will have two categories: users with the highest number of likes and posts with the most likes. Each segment will have to fall within the appropriate time range.

Good retroactive luck to all competitors! I know that you have already meme'd your hearts out!

Note: if there is a way to nest spoilers, please let me know.

Didn't take too long. Had a script that scrubbed all the posts and used an excel template for the tables. The part that took the longest was getting the formatting to work haha. Glad you enjoy it!

Yeah, that's doable. Would need to spend more time programmatically getting the formatting though. Might look into this if I get some free time. Also would probably be prone to breaking even faster due to deleted threads/posts.

I thought about this, but we'll need to figure out what was an actual meme then. Effectively, that would be like a mercy rule where everything below X likes doesn't count. Meme Gods shouldn't be punished if they are discussing memes and don't get likes.

That brings up a moral/philosophical question. If a meme doesn't get a like, is it actually just discussion?

Wow...this is a real blast from the past. I think all my links lead to blank posts because I deleted that old channel a few months back :(

I just watched some of them and realised 1. I don't remember making half of these and 2. What was I thinking when I was a kid? Lots of cringe, but also lots of I still find funny today :hehe:
