I already have a working out plan. I don't think it works if you randomly pick one and then change whenever you're bored.

Re: ESOC Fitness Thread
That is a faulty view. Firstly, you need to find an activity that you do pleasantly. That can be lifting in the gym, crossfit, cycling, running, swimming, etc. And then you need a proper technique. With wrong technique, you will train neither effectively nor efficiently. At the same time, you need a goal. If it's too vague, like "getting abs" or "losing weight", it will be harder to focus on. I suggest to opt for something trackable. Lose a certain amount of kilos, reach a certain body fat ratio, be able to lift some amount of kilos and so on. You can discuss those goals and see whether they are achievable and adapt. As long as, you stay focussed on that goal, soon systematic exercising and proper dieting will become a habit. This goal mentality can be extended to all kinds of skill learning. Having a healthier and stronger body is nothing more than a skill.evilcheadar wrote:As long as you're straining the muscles you goodBrookG wrote:I already have a working out plan. Re: ESOC Fitness Thread
People already know that eating junk food will not help them lose weight. I didn’t bother putting that in the post in order to save time. Cardio is overrated for weight loss imo and if you’re heavy enough doing it you can mess up your joints (some cardio is good for ye but if you are really overweight I’d recommend seated bike cardio where your weight isn’t crushing your frame with each step but I assume most people browsing this forum are more skinny fat nerd aoe players so I didn’t bother talking about cardio in my original advice). You really just need to strain the muscle so hypertrophy occurs and hopefully increases your basal metabolic rate such that you can lean out. Just strain the muscles tbhiNcog wrote:Possibly. Probably even. But how does that make your "advice", which was not even a full line, any good? You just told people to strain the muscles, then you didn't elaborate or build upon that. It's so comically short and incomplete that it kills any credibility you may have had. Hence me calling it garbage.evilcheadar wrote:Probably not tbh.
